Friday Introduction

Happy HAPPY Friday! As I’m writing this, I’m catching up on Game of Thrones. As in Season 1, Episode 6. Yes, I’m one of those people that’s entirely behind the Winterfell times, and now I’m being that bandwagon jumper trying to catch up so I can actually enjoy the new season with my boyfriend. Don’t worry, I actually paused it to write this, because you know if you miss even 0.257 seconds you’ll be lost.

Today I wanted to do something a little different with you guys. I realized that beyond my About Me page, you may not know too much about me. I recently got tagged to do a fun little question and answer game from Room for Gelato (check out her blog for major travel inspo!), so I thought this would be a great way to share more about myself! I added a few more of my own questions at the end.

Have you stopped recently to think about what some of your favorite things are or what really makes you YOU? Personally, I don’t think I do that often enough. I feel like I’m always struggling in those two-truths-and-a-lie or interesting fact games. Anyone else? Take inventory of yourself. Feel free to leave a comment below with your own answers to these questions! If you want to know more, please contact me!

Go-to alcoholic drink? Lately 7&7. Always margaritas and wine.

What’s the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning? Check my phone, but I’m currently working on cutting that out of my morning routine and establishing a better one. (I’ve been listening to The 5 Second Rule, it’s a game changer!)

Cake or pie? Pie. Mom’s apple pie.

How many photos do you have on your phone camera roll? 446. I’m almost always at my limit for storage.

Favorite veggie? Broccoli, corn, and asparagus – grilled or roasted

What’s your biggest pet peeve? Listening to people chew loudly

What was the first CD you ever bought? Hmm… Shania Twain? Britney Spears? NOW 1? I can’t remember, but I still have a whole CD case full of my junior high and high school memories. (I can’t bring myself to part with them!)

What’s your favorite travel destination? Sevilla, Spain, where I studied abroad. It will always have a crazy big piece of my heart.

Gummy bears or gummy worms? Gummy bears. I’ve been meaning to try these boozy ones!

Favorite fruit? Grapes or bananas

Dogs or cats? Definitely dogs. It’s hilarious how bad I wanted a cat when I was younger (I had cat posters and everything…don’t judge…), but now I can’t wait to have a puppy of my own!

Favorite season? I love fall (and all its related food and activities!), but summer’s pretty great too.

What food could you eat for the rest of your life? (with no health repercussions) Mac n’ cheese. It’s basically my love language. (I did find a healthier version here!)

Fun Fact! Today is my 5 year anniversary with my boyfriend! <3

Can’t wait to learn more about you! xx

  1. Happy 5 years!! I hope he treats your to all the mac n’ cheese and boozy gummy bears that you want!! P.S. we need to get margaritas some time…I am really craving a spicy one!

  2. Aww thanks so much girl!! Actually, I should put in those requests right now haha. Yes, margaritas soon! I actually have a recipe for a spicy one that I’ve been wanting to try!

  3. Love that your first CD was Shania Twain. I love her, too! I really want to go to Seville, Spain and hopefully will get to do that this year. It’s on my list. Thanks for the link share!

    1. Haha that’s awesome! I actually saw her in concert a couple years ago, it was amazing. I’m so happy you’re planning to visit Sevilla! I love that it’s a big city but has more of an authentic Spanish flair than Barcelona/Madrid. But I’m a little biased :). Let me know if you have any questions! Can’t wait to hear about it!

  4. Are you sure about your first CD? I’m thinking New Kids on the Block or Backstreet Boys. Or maybe Barney and Friends. ❤️Mom

    1. I’m not sure about New Kids on the Block, but Backstreet Boys could’ve definitely been in the Top 5. haha
